I did that once, with good results. I had a nasty, painful bruise and my friend said tansy was good for bruises (I’ve since learned it can cause harm; I should have used a poultice). I couldn’t drink it (nasty taste), so I put a spoonful in my mouth and swallowed it with water. It worked great. I figured it just brewed in my stomach, where I couldn’t taste it.
Uh… let me admit it -IS- a little weird to eat raw tea grounds…BUT its not poiseness…and yes, you would get all that you need from the grounds just as well as from the tea u drink. tell me how they taste!

Yes, you can. Tea leaves are used in cooking in Asian cuisine. White and green tea would be best. Buy it in bulk even better.

In fact, in South East Asia, they have tibits for that. And chinese have a hard boiled egg that is make with tea leaves.
So, there are lots of ways to get the benefits of tea, what you mentioned is one and alot people are doing that…
