danielle

You may try using 2 tea bags in 1 at of water per gallon. Steep your tea on low for 45 min to an hour! It makes a darker, stronger tea!

make sure its a stong tea bag and a trusted brand. like limpton.
make sure that you water is hot enough and keep about 2-3 tea bags in for about a minute while stiring.
that should do it.

ryan

To make good sun tea, here is what I suggest you do.....Take a one gallon jar, and get four family sized to tea bags, and insert them to one side of the opening at the top of the jar. String the four tea bags together, and then fill the jar with HOT water, then place the lid on the jar. Leave the jar outside where it can get sun for several hours. It's best if you do this in the morning, so that when you come back home later in the day, all you have to do then is add sugar, put it all in the pitcher, and enjoy. I hope this helps.

daves

The brand you are using may have a lot to do with it. I finally found one brand in particular that I really enjoy....it is TAZO. In the TAZO brand I prefer the ZEN & the CHINA GREEN TIPS flavors.

You can buy it from many websites at many different prices.....you just have to check around. Our WalMart carries it now, & it is at the cheapest price I've found anywhere.....under $4.00 for 20 or 24 bags (can't remember for sure). It is strong enough that I can use each bag twice in a little over 1 cup size coffee mug.

I also found that I really enjoy my green tea even better when I use turbinado (raw) sugar to sweeten it, instead of regular sugar or honey.

Give it a try.....you might find it is the answer to your problem!
