Try either honey with something like a cinnamon tea, or lemon with any berry flavored tea. It’s important to let the bag steep (sit in the hot water for a while before removing.
Add a cardamon pod to the tea, splitting the pods first.I always put a small hand full in my tea caddy. Always use tea leaves and not bags. When I lived in England back in the 70’s, I worked at a tea factory in Markyate, (PG Tips). We would blend the different tea leaves usually 30 or 31 different types, then any that had fallen through the sifting process and had wound up on the ground we would sweep up and have them put in the machines that were producing the tea bags.
ohh this is like my profession
ok u can use loose tea and let it sit after you boil it then strain it.
For me i add mint leaves – or some cardamom.
They key is to make it boil enough and loose is better then bags.. moreover letting it sit a bit before straining,, makes it sooo full of taste and better with the additional flavors.
Boiling hot water over a few bags, steeped for as long as it takes, in less water.
The brand of tea you’re using may have an effect too, especially with some of the sweater teas.
With herbal teas in mind, regarding chamomile tea, it’s a homeopathic herb. It’s like snake venom. In large amounts it’s quite bad for you, but in small amounts it actually prevents the sickness that it would otherwise cause.
Use Black Tea for strength……..
Steep it (covering the cup with a saucer) for about 7 minutes….
Add two pinches of Cinnamon first, the tea bag, then the Hot! Hot! water….
After steeping, add honey to taste….
For a more aromatic tea I suggest that you go to an Indian store and by some Taj Mahal Tea…. Red Box….
It’s great!!
The brand you are using may have a lot to do with it. I finally found one brand in particular that I really enjoy….it is TAZO. In the TAZO brand I prefer the ZEN & the CHINA GREEN TIPS flavors.
You can buy it from many websites at many different prices…..you just have to check around. Our WalMart carries it now, & it is at the cheapest price I’ve found anywhere…..under $4.00 for 20 or 24 bags (can’t remember for sure). It is strong enough that I can use each bag twice in a little over 1 cup size coffee mug.
I also found that I really enjoy my green tea even better when I use turbinado (raw) sugar to sweeten it, instead of regular sugar or honey.
Give it a try…..you might find it is the answer to your problem!
To make good sun tea, here is what I suggest you do…..Take a one gallon jar, and get four family sized to tea bags, and insert them to one side of the opening at the top of the jar. String the four tea bags together, and then fill the jar with HOT water, then place the lid on the jar. Leave the jar outside where it can get sun for several hours. It’s best if you do this in the morning, so that when you come back home later in the day, all you have to do then is add sugar, put it all in the pitcher, and enjoy. I hope this helps.
make sure its a stong tea bag and a trusted brand. like limpton.
make sure that you water is hot enough and keep about 2-3 tea bags in for about a minute while stiring.
that should do it.

use less water, more tea; try squeezing the tea bag between two spoons so you don’t have to squeeze it with your fingers.

The best way is to use a pinch of baking soda. I know it sounds weird, but the baking soda leeches the tea from the bag.

You may try using 2 tea bags in 1 at of water per gallon. Steep your tea on low for 45 min to an hour! It makes a darker, stronger tea!

If steeping longer doesnt make much diffence, consider putting in 2 tea bags per cup.
