I sometimes use half the amount of sugar I usually use and replace it with a pack of the “to go” flavored tea packs. Put more than one depending on your taste. They have them in light too. Many different flavors to choose too.

Try buying a different tea maybe? A lot of Sri Lankan and British teas are so good and they have natural flavors in them already so not much sugar is needed.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I had wanted to brew my own Green Tea, as the store bought bottled types have so much sugar in it, but, just couldn’t get by the taste. What I did was added some lemone juice to the tea & it tasted 110% better. If you do not want to use (or carry around) the liquid form of the juice, you can do what I do & get this stuff called True Lemon. It’s crystalized lemon juice that are in little packets. The best part is that it has zero calories & no sugar. I have found that, ever since using this stuff, I haven’t needed to add ANY sugar to my tea….the lemon stuff adds enough sweetness.

Try different flavors of tea until you find one you like that you don’t have to add sugar to. I like Tazo Zen tea – it is light, lemony and slightly sweet without adding any sugar.

Try the Crystal Lite teas…they are 0 cals and 0 sugar but are still good. I like the raspberry tea.
