I got to see these guys on this tour but had 1 more chance to see em with Def Lepard but they sold out the 10k seat venue in 30 min… *****.. I missed getting tickets by about 10 min.. Sure wish they do a reunion.. in Victoria BC that is
it’s easy depends on the persons taste in genres, but yea these guys are really talented and they should of made it big in the states and it’s sad to see such talent break up =(. i’m not dissing him but some times in the video the way he wears his shirt reminds me of will farrel
Yes, there are a lot of stupid things on the internet. However, there are a lot of great things. The ability to communicate from one end of the earth to the other. Information that you wouldn’t find in your every day media is always a plus.
You sound like you’re from Montreal, because anyone in tune with the scene here have already heard of these bands…the next one you will no doubt find is Crazy Fire…you won’t find them on the internet anywhere as they are anti-internet; you have to catch them live.
naw im not “learning” to this crap as u so elegantly put it in your interesting take on the english language..oh yes you must be correct i would throw away all my cd’s to listen to the 5 u listed..dang im missing out..you can post whenever u like..just wondering why u are wasting the time if u dislike it so much..as for your art comment u are right..cept you dont keep going back to look at it…
1st – Will i don’t believe you heard of any of those bands, because if you did, you wouldn’t be learning to this crap!
2nd – not sure theres any rule about leaving comments about crappy bands.
3nd – I will leave the last comment about how crappy this band is.
4th – last time i checked if you leave “art” on display it is up to the viewer to comment about it. and this, this is CRAP!!!
“will i am”…Smith??..anyways Sazoo whats your point? ive heard of all those artists..and 10 i have never heard of? This is a tea Party thread not-name obscure Canadian bands no one cares about thread…go find that one..no need to troll her..move along nothing to see here..you said u were ashamed of this ‘drivel”..so why are u here??..go listen to the 10 bands ive never heard of..bye
dartagion – “not Canadian” will i am, but thats neither here nor there. good music is good. heres five bands / artists you don’t know about “that are Canadian that you should know.
1. Daniel Lanois (THIS IS HIS SONG!!!) and BAD version of it!
2. Matt Mays And El Torpedo (or Just Matt Mays)
3. Broken Social Scene
4. Buck 65
5. Rheostatics
and those are the easy ones dude! can give you 10! more youve never heard of!
as a canadian I am ashamed of people like you, who have to compare everything to someone else, instead of just taking it for what it is, nothing short of amazing and with genuine talent, that I doubt you will ever have
You forgot to mention Rush. Still recording and touring worldwide and selling out everywhere. Number 7 in concert ticket sales in 2007. And they are proud Canadians!
Sazoo..i highly doubt your Canadian..go listen to your Jonas bros cd..and look at your spice girls poster…DONT TROLL>>DONT LIKE IT>>GO AWAY..tea Party was a great band..
jim morrison wants his voice back, Jimmy Page wants his guitar back and i want you to go away. as a Canadian i’m ashamed of this drivel. i mean we can’t find our own voice so we steal others? btw – this is a great song from a great song wrighter and singer, look it up
there are a lot of Canadian music gems, The Tea Party being one of them and so is Blue Rodeo, for what ever reason they don’t do well in the states, partly because of perception in the states and the second part is the recording company, its a cycle. they dont want to permote it because it wont sell but it doesnt sell because they don’t permote. There are exceptions to this, Nickelback, Bryan Adams, and even Celine Dion,
