< Go to the Dollar store and get cheap jewelry or lip gloss, or stuff like that. Maybe they will have a diary there (with the key). I am an “Auntie” to 4 little girls and their Mom always tells me I find the fun things for them. Most of the time I just go to the Dollar store. I also kind of watch what the kids are picking up and asking for. Candy is always a big hit too. I get the odd kinds like the candy lips, etc. etc.
Maybe some pens (like the kinds with feathers on end) or notepads in cute shapes, or notebooks with cute pics.

That sounds like fun, you are sweet to do that!

My daughter is 7 and she loves candy. It’s not really hard to please em. They will have fun just spending time with you and playing games. Lets see, You can go to the dollar store and find all kind of inexspencive gifts. At Christmas, mine enjoyed a box rather than what was in it. LOL but the dollar store is good

DOLLAR TREE, if you have one in your area, would be the best place. They have little girl dress shoes (heels), little boas, cute hats, purses, the list goes on and on. The best part is it’s all a $1 or less for each item. Have a blast and God bless you for taking the time to do this for girls who aren’t even yours!! :-)

They’re 8 year olds…..go to the Dollar Store or CVS and buy some little toys and things. They’ll appreciate it, some of the stuff there is really not all that bad. They have toys, games, and crafts….and all of it is unexpensive.

I buy cake from Costco for 15 bucks and it can feed 40 people. I urge you going to Party America and buy cheap little stuff and make cute gift bags for them. You also can get decorating stuffs for the Birthday party as well. Good luck and Hope you have the best party in town. Happy New Year 2008.

I’ve read some of the answers, and they sound good, another thing you might consider is doing something like making cards for thier mothers that are in the hospital. That way, when they go to visit them again, they can give their mothers something from their day with you as well.

try the dollar store, or my favorite store- 5 and below. girls will be girls, and anything to do with makeup, lotions, glitter, and hair accessories they will love. that’s the age where little girls like to pretend to be ‘grown up’. even candy and little games can be something they would like.
